Videographer & Photographer (Shoot + Edit) — The Warp 'n Weft

Location: Mumbai only — must be Mumbai-based. (We are not considering candidates outside Mumbai.) Engagement: Two options —

- Monthly retainer (contract), or
- Full-time

About us

The Warp 'n Weft is a handloom house — Banarasi weaves and handcrafted Indian wear, rooted in craft. Every piece carries the hands that made it. We're building a small, sharp creative team to carry that craft into how the brand looks, speaks, and moves everywhere it shows up.

The role

We're looking for a Mumbai-based photographer + videographer who owns a shoot end-to-end — from the idea to the finished, handed-off files. Not just a pair of hands on a camera: someone who can take a brand direction, build the mood board, plan and run the shoot, and edit it into finished reels and imagery.

You'll take ownership of our campaigns — the ones running now and the ones coming — and keep the whole visual pipeline organised and moving.

What you'll do — end to end

- Plan the shoot — around the company's guidelines, brand direction, and campaign requirements.
- Mood-board it — design and finalise the mood board / visual direction for each shoot.
- Shoot — video and stills (campaigns, product, reels, people-led stories).
- Edit — cut reels and short films; cull, colour, and clean up photos to grid- and web-ready.




- Hand off — deliver organised, final files; keep the raw + finished library tidy and findable.
- Own the campaign — track your shoots and deliverables in an organised way, so nothing slips.

What we're looking for

- Mumbai-based (non-negotiable).
- 2–4 years shooting and editing for brands, labels, or studios — with a reel/portfolio that shows you both shoot and edit.
- Comfortable running a shoot solo — lighting, framing, getting the shot without a big crew.
- Video editing: Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Photo editing: Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Can build and finalise a mood board from a brand direction — you think in visual concepts, not just clips.
- A feel for Indian craft, textiles, or handloom is a strong plus — you know how to shoot fabric, not just faces.

A strong plus

- AI-assisted editing / generation — comfort with AI tools, and the ability to generate photo and video in a directed, on-brand way.
- Someone who can take real ownership of current and upcoming campaigns and keep them organised.
