Education:

ITI/Diploma in CNC/Mechanical/Machining

Experience:

5–10 years; VMC setting and operation; precision components preferred

Job Description :

- Study component drawings, process sheets, tool lists and CNC programmes before machining.
- Set fixtures, workholding devices, cutting tools and work offsets.
- Load and verify CNC programmes before production.
- Conduct first-off machining and coordinate first-piece inspection.
- Make approved offset/parameter corrections within defined limits.
- Monitor dimensions, surface finish, tool condition and machining stability.
- Identify tool wear, dimensional variation and machining abnormalities.
- Maintain component identification and traceability throughout machining.
- Ensure components are protected from damage, contamination and mix-up.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, tooling condition and workplace housekeeping.
- Record production and inspection information as required.
- Follow work instructions,



quality requirements and safety procedures.

Technical:

- Strong VMC setting and operation.
- Fixture, tool and work-offset setting.
- CNC programme understanding and verification.
- Cutting tools, speeds/feeds and machining parameters.
- Close-tolerance precision machining.
- Drawing/GD&T; interpretation.

Inspection / Process:

- First-off and in-process inspection.
- Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Surface finish and machining-defect awareness.
- Tool wear and process stability.

Behavioural:

- High attention to detail.
- Discipline, traceability and 5S.
- Secure machine operation.
- Teamwork and ability to communicate process issues.

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
