nRole Summary
NWe are looking for a Design & Development Engineer with strong upholstery experience to join our Furniture Design & Engineering team in Hosur.
NThe role will focus on developing upholstered furniture products from concept to production, combining design thinking, engineering fundamentals and hands-on knowledge of upholstery construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
NThe ideal candidate should understand how upholstered furniture is designed, engineered, prototyped and mass-manufactured, while working closely with manufacturing, sourcing, quality and other cross-functional teams.

nKeyResponsibilities
NProduct Design & Development

- Develop upholstered furniture products from concept to production. N
- Create and refine product designs considering functionality, comfort,



aesthetics, durability and manufacturability. N
- Develop 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings using SolidWorks. N
- Translate design concepts into production-ready engineering solutions. N

nUpholsteryEngineering

- Robust understanding of upholstery construction, foam, fabric/leather, webbing, stitching, frames and cushioning systems. N
- Develop upholstery specifications, construction details and manufacturing methods. N
- Work on sofas, chairs, beds and other upholstered furniture. N
- Optimize designs for comfort, durability, material utilization and ease of manufacturing. N
- Troubleshoot design andproduction issues related to upholstery construction. N
