Purchase & Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Purchase & Procurement Specialist who can independently manage supplier sourcing, procurement, vendor relationships, commercial negotiations, and order execution.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling the complete procurement cycle, from identifying suppliers and comparing quotations to negotiating commercial terms, managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and tracking shipments and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and source reliable suppliers and manufacturers.

- Search for products through Alibaba, 1688, Made-in-China, IndiaMART, and other B2B platforms.

- Compare supplier quotations, pricing, MOQ, quality, and delivery timelines.

- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.

- Build and maintain solid supplier relationships.

- Issue and manage Purchase Orders.





- Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmation and production.

- Track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries.

- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams.

- Resolve supplier-related pricing, quality, quantity, and delivery issues.

- Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.

- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve margins.

Requirements

- 2–6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.

- Strong supplier negotiation skills.

- Experience with B2B sourcing platforms.

- Good understanding of procurement processes.

- Strong communication and follow-up skills.

- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.

- Ability to compare quotations and evaluate suppliers.

- Experience with China sourcing / import procurement will be an advantage.
