Timings: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST or 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM IST Candidates should be comfortable transitioning across US shifts based on business requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Training (US Mortgage) to lead and scale training initiatives for our US Mortgage operations.

The role will have end-to-end ownership of mortgage training programs, including current-hire onboarding, upskilling, refresher training, and performance enablement.

The ideal candidate will bring strong US Mortgage domain expertise, excellent training planning and delivery capabilities, and experience in leading trainers, standardizing learning content, and driving measurable performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy, Execution & Operational Support

- Design, implement, and continuously improve US Mortgage training programs aligned with business goals.

- Own new-hire onboarding, refresher training, and ongoing skill development.

- Standardize training frameworks, curricula, SOPs, and assessments across mortgage processes.

- Support US Mortgage Operations during periods when training activities are not scheduled, including day-to-day operational activities and other business requirements to ensure continuity.

US Mortgage Domain Ownership
Deliver and govern training across the US Mortgage lifecycle, including:

- Loan Origination & Processing

- Underwriting concepts

- Closing & Post-Closing

- Mortgage Payoff

- Title, HOA & Municipal Liens

- Related mortgage operational workflows

- Ensure training content remains regulatory-compliant and aligned with US industry standards.

Stakeholder & Business Alignment

- Partner with Operations, Quality, and Leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs.





- Translate business requirements into effective training interventions.

- Act as a trusted advisor on training effectiveness and workforce readiness.

Training Metrics & Effectiveness

- Define and track KPIs including certification scores, nesting success, productivity ramp-up, and error reduction.

- Analyze training impact and drive data-backed improvements.

- Support audits and quality reviews related to training compliance.

Learning Tools & Content Management

- Manage training documentation, knowledge repositories, and LMS usage, where applicable.

- Leverage virtual training tools to deliver engaging and scalable learning experiences.

- Continuously enhance content using feedback, performance data, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in Training/L&D;, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial training capacity.

- Strong US Mortgage domain expertise – Mandatory.

- Proven experience in training delivery, curriculum design, and trainer enablement.

- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, ADDIE model, and performance-based learning.

- Proficiency in MS Office for reports, dashboards, and data analysis.

- Experience conducting virtual training for US-aligned teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Mortgage Operations, Title Services, or Real Estate Services.

- Exposure to LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and digital training formats.

- Certifications in Training, Instructional Design, or L&D; are an added advantage.

- Experience scaling training programs for high-volume operations.
