As a Software Development Engineer II on our Infrastructure Supply Chain Automation team, you will build large-scale distributed applications using serverless technologies, data lakes, and NoSQL databases to automate the complex processes that keep AWS infrastructure growing ahead of customer demand. The team is expanding quickly with a solid pipeline of projects ready for you on day one, and we are actively investing in new features and AI adoption. Key job responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale distributed applications using serverless technologies, data lakes, and NoSQL databases to automate infrastructure supply chain processes for AWS.
- Collaborate with internal teams such to understand scaling requirements, translating them into technical designs that account for performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Write high-quality, well-documented code across the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and operations, ensuring solutions can be maintained by engineers new to the codebase.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions, actively training new team members on system architecture and operational practices.
