Job Description

You shall be responsible for:Strategic Procurement & Global Sourcing
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for direct and indirect materials, driving cost optimisation, quality, delivery and supplier competitiveness.
- Lead sourcing and procurement of electrical and electronic components, sheet metal parts, batteries, raw materials and other automotive components.
- Drive China sourcing through supplier identification, qualification, negotiations and development of a competitive supplier base, ensuring quality, compliance and supply continuity.
- Build and manage a global supplier ecosystem across China, Southeast Asia, India and other relevant sourcing markets.
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations, framework agreements,



long-term contracts, price benchmarking and total cost of ownership optimisation.
- Deliver measurable material-cost reductions through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, localisation, alternate sourcing and value engineering.
- Establish supplier performance management processes covering cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness and risk.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Finance on recent product introductions, component development and design-to-cost initiatives.

Supply Planning & Inventory Management
- Lead demand and supply planning, material requirements planning (MRP) and procurement planning in alignment with production schedules.
- Ensure timely material availability while optimising inventory, working capital, safety stocks and obsolete inventory.
- Improve forecast accuracy, supplier delivery performance and end-to-end supply chain visibility.
