About the Role
We are looking for a skilled COBOL Developer with solid expertise in COBOL, PL/SQL, and Banking Domain applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in application development, maintenance, production support, and defect remediation within enterprise banking systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL-based applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug COBOL programs to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform defect fixing, root cause analysis, and code corrections for production and UAT issues.
• Work with PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and database-related activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand and implement requirements.




• Participate in coding, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and SLA commitments.
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide regular status updates.
• Support incident management, change requests, and application maintenance activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Work as an active team player in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Required Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in COBOL Development
• Good knowledge of PL/SQL
• Experience in Banking Domain (Mandatory)
• Understanding of application support, debugging, and issue resolution
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
