Reports to: Managing Director
About the role: You will own our quality system. You will find why defects happen and make sure they don't happen again. You will run CAPA on customer complaints, keep our ISO system alive, run internal audits, and train people on the shop floor. You will spend a lot of time on the floor, not just at a desk.
Must have
• BE or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• 2 to 6 years in quality in a precision machining or hydraulics company
• At least 2 years in QA (not only inspection)
• Hands-on root cause analysis: 5 Why, fishbone, 8D
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
• Can read engineering drawings, GD&T; and tolerances
• Good with Excel or Google Sheets
• Clear written English. Hindi and Gujarati spoken is a plus for the shop floor.
Positive to have
• ISO 9001 internal auditor certificate
• Hydraulic valves, pumps or cylinders background
• IATF 16949 exposure, or core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
• Experience handling OEM customer audits
• Supplier quality development

• Confident enough to hold a bad batch, even when Production is under pressure.
• Would rather fix the system once than fix the same problem again and again.
• Follows up on actions until they are closed.
