Role Description The Academic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This position involves guiding prospective and current learners through course options, helping them select appropriate programs based on their academic background, interests, and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, providing academic advising, supporting career planning, and tracking learner progress throughout their training.



The Academic Counselor will collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to ensure a positive learning experience, address learner concerns, and participate in events such as orientations, workshops, and information sessions. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of counseling and advising processes.
Qualifications
• Counseling skills in the domains of Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to guide learners on academic and professional paths.
• Academic Advising and Education-related knowledge to support course selection, study planning, and progression tracking.
• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening in diverse learner interactions.
