About the Role
We are looking for a Civil Engineering skilled to join the GRCS Internal Audit team and support technical audits of real estate and construction projects. The role will involve evaluating project execution, cost management, quality controls, contractor management, and compliance with project specifications and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct technical audits of ongoing and completed real estate/construction projects.
• Review project budgets, BOQs, cost estimates, rate analyses, and contractor bills.
• Assess project progress against timelines, milestones, and approved plans.
• Evaluate quality control processes, construction standards, and site execution practices.
• Verify material consumption, project measurements, and contractor certifications.
• Review procurement, tendering, and vendor management processes.
• Identify risks, control gaps, cost leakages,



and process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare audit observations, reports, and recommendations for management review.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and business stakeholders during audits.
• Monitor closure of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycle and site execution.
• Knowledge of billing, estimation, BOQs, project costing, and contract management.
• Familiarity with building construction techniques and quality standards.
• Understanding of project controls, project monitoring, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and project documentation review.
• Ability to travel for project site audits, as required.
