Role Description:
We are looking for a hands-on Kitchen Operations Lead to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of The Hope Salad’s cloud kitchen in Mangaluru.
This is a leadership + operations + cooking role. The person will be responsible for running the kitchen, managing incoming orders, preparing food, supervising the kitchen assistant, maintaining inventory and hygiene, and continuously improving our menu and kitchen processes.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable both leading the kitchen and working on the kitchen floor. You will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently even when the founder is not present.
Roles and Responsbilities:
• Take complete ownership of the day-to-day operations of The Hope Salad kitchen.
• Manage and process Swiggy, Zomato and other incoming orders, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.
• Prepare salads, dressings and other menu items while maintaining taste, quality, portion and presentation standards.
• Lead, supervise and train the kitchen assistant and allocate daily tasks.
• Plan daily food preparation and kitchen workflow to handle peak hours efficiently.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, procurement and food wastage.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
• Develop and test new menu items and subscription menus, and improve existing recipe
