DIYA GOLD PALACE JEWELLERS PRIVATE LIMITED is a jewellery business based in Kozhikode, Kerala, with retail and wholesale operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented internal audit professional to strengthen financial controls, improve operational efficiency, and support compliance across our business.

Role Description

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit will plan and execute financial and operational audits across showrooms and wholesale operations. The role involves reviewing accounting records, verifying inventory and cash balances, assessing internal controls, and reporting findings with practical recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits of showroom and wholesale operations, accounting records, and financial transactions.
- Verify gold, diamond, silver, and other inventory through physical checks and reconciliation with system records.




- Review cash and bank transactions, customer advances, credit sales, supplier balances, and interbranch reconciliations.
- Examine purchases, sales, old gold exchanges, returns, discounts, making charges, and stock transfers.
- Assess compliance with company policies, approved procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Identify control gaps, discrepancies, and operational risks; recommend corrective measures.
- Prepare explicit audit reports and maintain supporting documentation and working papers.
- Follow up on audit findings and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
- Coordinate with accounts, operations, and management teams, and support statutory audits as required.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- M.Com or CA Intermediate qualification preferred.
