Prasad Pneucon Automation LLP is looking for a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in machinery/equipment manufacturing. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical design skills, proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and zeal to develop robust, manufacturable designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design bulk material handling equipment and related components.
• Prepare error free engineering drawings.
• Select suitable materials, bought-out components, fasteners, and manufacturing processes (pre & post-processing).
• Create manufacturing drawings in accordance with ISO standards.
• Apply appropriate GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering standards.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Perform basic mechanical design calculations and engineering analysis.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost reduction, and performance.
• Resolve manufacturing and assembly-related design issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Purchase, and other cross-functional teams.
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to Current Product Development (NPD) projects.
• Maintain engineering documentation, revision control, and design records.
• Visit customer site as and when required for product development and validation purpose
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
• Experience in mechanical product design department and engineering documentation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in machinery/equipment manufacturing.
