About the Role
We're looking for a React Native Developer who can also work on the backend. You'll build and ship our iOS and Android apps, and work on the Java Spring Boot services behind them, including Kafka, MySQL and GCP. You'll own features end to end, from the mobile screen to the database.
? Mobile (Primary Focus)
- Build and maintain cross-platform apps using React Native (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Turn Figma designs into smooth, pixel-accurate UIs
- Manage state with Redux, Zustand or React Query
- Integrate APIs, push notifications, deep links and third-party SDKs
- Write native modules (Swift/Kotlin) when needed
- Improve app performance and offline behavior
- Manage App Store and Play Store releases and CI/CD (Fastlane, EAS, Bitrise)
⚙️ Backend
- Build REST microservices with Java and Spring Boot
- Build event-driven workflows with Apache Kafka
- Design MySQL schemas and tune queries
- Deploy and run services on GCP (GKE/Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM, Monitoring)
? Across the Stack
- Own features end to end with product, design and QA- Write tests (Jest, Detox, JUnit, Mockito)
- Take part in code reviews, architecture discussions and production support
- Mentor junior engineers
✅ Must Have- 5–7 years of overall software development experience
- 3+ years with React Native in production
- 2+ years with Java and Spring Boot (MVC, Data JPA, Security)
- Hands-on experience with Kafka in production
- Strong SQL and MySQL skills
- Practical experience with GCP
- Docker, Git and CI/CD- API design, OAuth2/JWT and secure coding
- Strong problem-solving and explicit communication

- Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience
- Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform or Helm
- Redis, Elasticsearch or other NoSQL stores
