Post: Research Manager, for an Implementation Research on Newborn mortality.

Society for Applied Studies (SAS), a Delhi based not-for-profit research organization, invites application for the position of Research Manager

Place of work: The position is based at our study site in Dungarpur district, Rajasthan

Qualification: Advanced degree in Health/ Nutrition or related sciences (Anthropology/Population Sciences). MPH or PhD degree holders would have added advantage.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:
- Execution of the designed implementation strategies within timelines and budgets
- Program monitoring and evaluation
- Stakeholder engagement to foster collaboration and partnerships
- Staff management as per the requirement of the project and organizational policies
- Timely review of program data, conduct analysis to measure progress towards goals and prepare reports

Skills and experience:
- Candidates with prior experience of at least 3 years of working with the government health systems,



familiar with government programs, knowledge and good understanding of national health programs
- Exposure to health research in the domain of maternal and newborn health
- Knowledge and expertise in statistics and quantitative data analysis using Stata/R/SAS/, Knowledge of qualitative data analysis software like ATLAS.ti or NVivo
- Peer reviewed publications – desirable
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Positive communication, writing and presentation skills; effective interaction ability with government officials.
