Role DescriptionThe Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of industrial machinery, process equipment, and mechanical systems used in metallurgical and resource-recovery applications.




The ideal candidate should be capable of taking a concept from initial design → 3D model → engineering calculations → fabrication drawings → BOM → fabrication support → installation and commissioning.
The role requires strong practical knowledge of machine design and fabrication, along with the ability to work closely with fabrication, production, maintenance, and R&D; teams.
Key Responsibilities• Design and develop industrial machines, mechanical equipment, and assemblies.
• Prepare detailed 3D models, GA drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
• Develop BOMs, material specifications, part specifications, and fabrication details.
• Perform basic mechanical design calculations for shafts, structures, plates, fasteners, bearings, couplings, drives, etc.
