Swedish ME Steel India is looking for a driven and technically minded Sales Engineer to develop the market for Toolox® engineering and tool steel in Western India.
This is a hands-on business development role for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, understanding technical applications, identifying opportunities and converting them into long-term business.
About the RoleBased in Pune, you will be responsible for developing Toolox sales with both existing and new customers across industries such as:
• Tool & die and mould making
• Machine building
• Automotive and automotive suppliers
• Mining and construction equipment
• Material handling
• Industrial equipment
• Engineering and fabrication
You will work closely with customers' engineering, production and purchasing teams to understand their applications and demonstrate how Toolox can improve performance, productivity and total cost.
Key Responsibilities• Develop new customers and applications for Toolox®
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across Pune and Western India
• Visit customers regularly and actively generate recent business opportunities
• Identify suitable Toolox applications by understanding customers' technical and commercial requirements
• Develop relationships with OEMs, machine builders, toolmakers, mould makers, fabricators and engineering companies
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close orders
• Follow up leads, quotations and ongoing customer projects systematically
• Support customers with material selection and application discussions
• Work closely with Swedish ME Steel's internal sales, technical and logistics teams
• Monitor competitor activity, market developments and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate CRM/customer information, sales forecasts and activity reports
• Support exhibitions, technical seminars and other market-development activities
