Role Overview
The Business Development Associate (BDA) will serve as the primary growth driver for expanding the footprint of the CodeChef College Program across target institutions. The BDA acts as the frontline representative connecting prospective colleges with CodeChef’s offerings, ensuring active lead generation, strategic pitching, decision-maker engagement, deal closure, and market expansion. This is a high-energy,



outcome-driven role requiring exceptional communication, persuasive negotiation skills, pitch rigor, and the ability to consistently hit revenue and acquisition targets both in the field and through strategic outreach.
Note on Travel: This role requires being on the move. Expect to spend 60-70% of your time traveling to colleges for pitch presentations, campus meetings, and regional business development activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Institutional Sales: Identify, prospect, and convert current business opportunities with engineering colleges and universities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Deans, HoDs, TPOs (Training & Placement Officers), Directors, and academic leadership.
• Full Sales Lifecycle: Manage the complete sales process from discovery and live demos to proposals, negotiation, and closure.
