Role Summary

The Senior Associate / Executive – Conference Production & Concept is responsible for researching,

developing, and delivering high-impact conference content for BigMint's portfolio of commodityfocused events. The role involves identifying emerging industry trends, creating compelling

conference agendas, acquiring industry-leading speakers, and collaborating with internal and external

stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong research capabilities, excellent communication skills,

commercial awareness, and the ability to build relationships with senior industry stakeholders across

the metals, mining, energy, logistics, and commodity sectors.

Reporting Structure

Reports To: Manager / Senior Manager – Production & Concept

Key Stakeholders: Analytics, Price Reporting, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Industry Associations,

Sponsors, Speakers, and Industry Experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Industry & Market Research
• Monitor developments across steel, scrap, iron ore, coal, ferro alloys, non-ferrous metals,

logistics,



shipping, and energy markets.

• Track market trends, policy developments, trade dynamics, and emerging industry challenges.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and identify recent conference opportunities.
• Develop market insights and research briefs to support conference planning.
• Conference Concept & Agenda Development
• Research and develop conference themes aligned with market trends and business

opportunities.

• Design conference agendas, session formats, panel discussions, workshops, and networking

formats.

• Prepare session descriptions, speaker briefs, moderator notes, and content frameworks.
• Ensure conference content remains relevant, engaging, and commercially attractive.
• Speaker Acquisition & Management
• Identify and engage industry leaders, CXOs, policymakers, traders, analysts, investors, and

technology providers.
