Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment at construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for site safety inspections, hazard identification, PPE compliance, safety training, documentation, and coordination with site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify site hazards.
• Ensure workers and contractors follow safety procedures.
• Monitor proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction for workers.
• Monitor safety during work at height, excavation, scaffolding, lifting, and other construction activities.
• Maintain safety inspection, incident, and training records.
• Investigate accidents, incidents,



and near-miss cases.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, and workers.
• Ensure proper barricading, safety signage, housekeeping, and emergency arrangements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive safety actions.

Eligibility

• Diploma / Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, or a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction or real estate.
• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Knowledge of PPE, risk assessment, and hazard identification.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to prepare safety reports and maintain documentation.
