Role Description The Procurement Engineer is a full time, on-site role based at the Rajkot manufacturing unit. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing requests for quotation (RFQ), and preparing and processing purchase orders in alignment with project requirements and company standards. The Procurement Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment, cost-effective sourcing, and adherence to technical specifications. Daily activities include analyzing bids and cost data, maintaining supplier records, negotiating commercial terms under guidance, and monitoring supplier performance. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement in procurement processes, supporting compliance with ISO standards, and helping optimize the supply chain for water treatment and beverage project equipment.
