Finance Manager – Books Finalization & Closure (Multi-Entity + Founder’s Personal Accounts)

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to own the end-to-end finalization and closure of books of accounts across multiple group companies, while also managing the Founder’s personal books of accounts.
This is a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who is equally comfortable with technical accounting, statutory compliance, treasury, and financial controls, while maintaining the highest level of discretion when handling the Founder’s personal finances.
You will be the single point of accountability for maintaining accurate, timely, and audit-ready books across the group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Books Finalization – Group Companies
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books for multiple group companies.
• Finalize Trial Balance, P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements for each entity.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Ensure correct accounting treatment of inter-company transactions, loans, advances, and cost allocations.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, provisions, accruals, depreciation schedules, and other closing schedules.
• Coordinate statutory and tax audits end-to-end and act as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax consultants.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports and financial summaries for the Founder and leadership team.
• Build and strengthen accounting controls, processes, and SOPs as the group scales.
2. FEMA, Export-Import & International Compliance
• Ensure compliance with applicable FEMA regulations for cross-border transactions.
• Handle and coordinate inbound and outbound foreign remittances.
