About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Business Development Executive to generate IT services leads through freelance and bidding platforms and convert them into paying clients. This is a focused, full-time role, not a side or shared responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
• Find and bid on relevant projects on Upwork, Guru, Freelancer and similar platforms
• Write strong, customized proposals that win client attention
• Generate leads through additional channels (LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals)
• Qualify leads, communicate with clients, and move them to calls or closure
• Coordinate with the technical team on estimates and project scope
• Maintain a lead pipeline and report on bids, responses, and conversions
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in IT sales or business development on Upwork, Guru, and Freelancer
• Strong bidding skills: knows how to pick the right projects, price smartly, and write proposals that convert
• Good understanding of IT services (web, mobile, software development)
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Track record of closing deals, not just generating leads
• Dedicated and committed to this profile, with full focus on bidding and lead generation
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with daily bidding targets
