Finance & Operations Manager

We're seeking a fractional Finance & Operations Manager to act as our financial controller and oversee key operations across the firm. This role calls for a strong finance background, operational drive, and AI fluency. You'll lead month-end reporting, forecasting, and team management while making our processes more effective.

The Finance & Oper­a­tions Man­ag­er at Lawrence & Co keeps our num­bers accu­rate and our oper­a­tions run­ning well. This is a chance to shape how a grow­ing firm works. You’ll be our finan­cial con­troller and also over­see key oper­a­tions across the firm, so the role needs finan­cial rigour, oper­a­tional dri­ve, and a pas­sion for doing things better.

The Role

As Finance & Oper­a­tions Man­ag­er, you’ll over­see our books, deliv­er month-end finan­cial reports and analy­sis, review client and advi­sor invoic­ing, and fore­cast prof­itabil­i­ty and cash flow. You’ll coor­di­nate with our exter­nal accoun­tants, banks, and IT provider,



and make sure all tax­es and remit­tances are com­pli­ant and on time. On the oper­a­tions side, you’ll lead our finance and admin teams, dri­ve our quar­ter­ly goals and key projects, run hir­ing for admin and account­ing roles, and lead AI adop­tion across the firm. You’ll work close­ly with our CEO and COO, includ­ing on client-fac­ing AI projects.
