The Concept & Systems Engineer will lead and support the conceptual and preliminary design development of an advanced aircraft platform. This role is responsible for aircraft configuration development, performance sizing, system architecture definition, and cross-functional integration to mature the design toward a manufacturable and certifiable full-scale aircraft.

Qualifications• PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Flight Dynamics, Propulsion, or a closely related discipline.
• Robust academic or industry research background in aircraft conceptual design,



advanced air mobility, eVTOL, VTOL, rotorcraft, flight dynamics, propulsion, or multidisciplinary aircraft optimization.
• 3+ years of relevant post-PhD industry, research, or aircraft-development experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with aircraft conceptual and preliminary design, vehicle sizing, mission analysis, and configuration trade studies.
• Strong understanding of aircraft performance, aerodynamics, flight mechanics, stability and control, and multidisciplinary aircraft design.
• Experience developing mathematical models, simulations, optimization frameworks, or physics-based engineering models.
• Strong proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent engineering analysis tools.
• Experience with multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO), aircraft sizing, performance modeling, or system-level optimization is highly desirable.
