Hiring | Principal Officer (Full-Time) | Insurance Marketing Firm | Pune

For a proposed IRDAI-regulated Insurance Marketing Firm (IMF) in Pune. We're looking for the person who will lead it as our Principal Officer.

This is a leadership seat, not a desk job. You'll be the executive head of the IMF and the person accountable for doing insurance the right way. We believe compliance is what customer trust is built on, and we want someone who feels the same.
What you'll own

• Overall leadership of the IMF's operations
• IRDAI compliance: registration, renewals, returns, record-keeping and disclosures
• Fit & proper declarations and the Principal Officer undertaking
• Onboarding, training and licensing of Insurance Sales Persons (ISPs)
• Insurer relationships and empanelment
• Fair selling, policyholder grievance handling and claims support
• Building our retail (health, term, motor) and commercial (fire, SME, group) practice

Who we're looking for
• Graduate in any stream
• 5+ years in insurance: insurer, broker, corporate agency or IMF




• Has passed the III-conducted IMF Principal Officer examination, or is eligible for exemption (valid broker, corporate agent or web aggregator training within the last 5 years)
• Meets IRDAI fit & proper criteria, with no statutory disqualification
• Able to commit full time to one IMF only
• Strong ethics, clear communication, hands-on leadership
• Pune-based or willing to relocate
