Job Overview

We are looking for a Power BI developer with 4-7 years of experience in Power BI, SQL, data analysis, and business planning. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards, generating actionable business insights, and supporting planning and performance management through data-driven analysis.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for business and management teams.

* Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

* Build data models and create calculated measures using DAX.

* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.

* Translate business requirements into effective dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.

* Support business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking through data analysis.

* Prepare monthly/quarterly business planning reports and track performance against targets.

* Analyze historical and current business data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.

* Develop automated MIS/reporting solutions to reduce manual reporting efforts.

* Ensure data accuracy, consistency,



and integrity across dashboards and reports.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.

* Monitor business performance and provide insights to support decision-making.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data sources, and SQL queries.

* Optimize Power BI dashboards and data models for better performance and usability.

Required Skills

* 45 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.

* Robust proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.

* Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.

* Experience in designing interactive and management-level dashboards.

* Good understanding of business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and target vs. achievement analysis.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful business insights.

* Good understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Experience in automating recurring reports and dashboards will be an added advantage.
