Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Team Leader with solid expertise in PHP Laravel, Linux hosting, and production infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead the development team, architect scalable applications, mentor developers, and take ownership of application deployment, server management, and technical decision-making.

This role requires a balance of technical leadership, software architecture, and DevOps knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of developers.

Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices.

Design scalable and secure application architecture.

Estimate effort, plan releases, and coordinate with Project Managers.

Troubleshoot critical production issues and drive continuous improvements.

Laravel Development

Develop and maintain enterprise Laravel applications and REST APIs.

Optimize application performance, database queries, caching, queues, and scheduled jobs.

Integrate third-party services while ensuring application security and reliability.

Hosting & Infrastructure

Manage production environments, including:

Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS)

Nginx/Apache, PHP-FPM

MySQL/MariaDB administration and optimization

SSL, DNS, backups, security,



and monitoring

Git-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, Docker (preferred)

Cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or Azure

Team & Delivery

Allocate tasks and monitor project progress.

Participate in technical hiring and mentoring.

Prepare technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing. Ensure timely delivery with high code quality and system reliability.

Required Skills

8 to 12+ years of PHP development experience.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Laravel experience.

Minimum 3 years leading software development teams.

Strong knowledge of:

PHP 8+, Laravel 10/11/12

REST APIs

MySQL/MariaDB

Git

Redis, Queues, Scheduler, Caching

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Linux server administration

Nginx/Apache, PHP-FPM

SSL, DNS, SSH, Cron Jobs

Experience with Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean is an advantage.
