Role & responsibilities
- Acquire and onboard new-to-bank corporate clients and build a solid pipeline of prospective relationships.
- Drive corporate loan-book growth across products such as Corporate Loans, Promoter Financing, Structured Financing and Acquisition Financing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers and identify opportunities to increase wallet share.
- Achieve defined interest income, fee income and portfolio growth targets.
- Cross-sell relevant products including Insurance and Wealth solutions.
- Prepare draft credit proposals/CAMs in line with credit policy requirements and maintain high standards of credit analysis.
- Analyze client financials, annual reports, management accounts, industry information and other relevant data to support credit assessment.
- Monitor client creditworthiness, existing covenants and portfolio quality while ensuring adherence to risk policies and minimizing NPAs.
- Work closely with Credit, Product and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution and service delivery.
- Maintain CRM hygiene, ensure KYC compliance and prepare relevant MIS/portfolio analytics covering utilization, profitability and cross-sell ratios.
Preferred candidate profile
- 34 years of relevant experience in Corporate/Commercial Banking with a private/public sector bank, NBFC or credit rating agency.
- Strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in Large Corporate/Corporate Banking Relationship Management and client acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience in NTB acquisition, corporate lending and loan-book growth.
- Sound understanding of corporate credit appraisal, financial analysis and CAM/credit proposal preparation.
- Exposure to corporate lending products such as Corporate Loans, Structured Finance, Promoter Financing or Acquisition Finance would be highly relevant.
- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to drive revenue, fee income, cross-sell and wallet share.
- Good stakeholder-management and negotiation capabilities, including coordination with Credit, Product and Operations teams.
- Strong communication, customer orientation, ownership, resilience and adaptability.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and LOS/LMS platforms.
- Full-time graduate qualification required; MBA/PGDM or CA/ICWA preferred
