Role & responsibilities:

HVAC DESING ENGINEER -VACANT POSITION - 02
The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing HVAC systems for a variety of projects, including hospitals, hotels, residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role requires expertise in engineering principles, project management, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
1. Design and Development:
- Conduct detailed load calculations to determine heating and cooling needs.
- Design HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, ventilation, and control systems and preparation of BOQ and Tender.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handling units, and heat exchangers.
2. Client Interaction:
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, present designs, and provide technical guidance.
- Address client concerns and make modifications to designs based on feedback.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
3. Site Visit and Inspections:
- Perform site visits to assess project feasibility and gather data for design purposes.
- Inspect HVAC installations during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems during construction.
4. Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
-Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars and certificate.
Preferred candidate profile:
Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency in HVAC design software (CAD, BIM, HAP, etc....)
2. Strong knowledge of HVAC system components and their functions.
3. Understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to HVAC designs.
PLUMBING & FIREFIGHTING DESIGN ENGINEER -VACANT POSITION - 02
The Plumbing & Firefighting Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and making documentations of plumbing and firefighting systems in various types of buildings, including hospitals, hotels, residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role requires expertise in engineering principles, project management,
and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
1. Design and Development:
- Design plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, storm water management and wastewater systems.
- Design firefighting systems such as sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrant systems and fire suppression systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pump head calculations and pipe sizing for plumbing and fire protection systems and preparation of BOQ and Tender.
- Select appropriate materials, fixtures and equipment for plumbing and fire protection applications.
2. Client Interaction:
- Engage with clients to understand their specific plumbing and fire protection requirements, present design solutions and offer technical expertise.
- Address client feedback and make necessary modifications to designs to meet project objectives.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and other project stakeholders.
3. Site Visits and inspections:
- Conduct site visits to gather data, assess existing plumbing and firefighting systems, and evaluate project feasibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems during construction.
4.Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes related to plumbing and firefighting systems.
-Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars and certifications relevant to the field.
Preferred candidate profile:
Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency in design software (CAD, BIM, HASS, etc....)
2. Strong knowledge of plumbing system, fire protection system, and their components.
3. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as NBC, NFPA, IS.
ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER -VACANT POSITION - 02
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and documentation of electrical systems in various projects, including hospitals, hotels, residential, commercial,
and industrial buildings. The role requires expertise in engineering principles, project management, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
1. Design and Development:
- Develop detailed electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting systems, communication systems, and control systems.
- Create schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD, BIM, or similar design software.
- Perform load calculations, short circuit calculations, and voltage drop calculations to ensure system integrity.
- Select appropriate electrical equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, generators, and switchgear & preparation of BOQ and Tender
2. Client Interaction:
- Engage with clients to understand project requirements, present design solutions, and provide technical expertise.
- Address client feedback and modify designs as necessary to meet project goals.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and other stakeholders.
3. Site Visits and Inspections:
- Conduct site visits to gather data, assess existing electrical systems, and evaluate project feasibility.
- Monitor the installation and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
4. Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical design, technology, and industry standards.
- Participate in professional development activities such as seminars, workshops, and certifications.
Preferred candidate profile:
Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency in electrical design software (CAD, BIM, DIALux, ETAP etc.).
2. Robust understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and control systems.
3. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as IEC, NEC, IS.
Working Conditions:
1. Primarily office-based with occasional site visit and inspections.
2. Travel may be required depending on project locations.
