Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Application Packaging

- Create and maintain MSI, MSIX or App-V and IntuneWinpackages.
- Repackage legacy applications using industry-standard tools.
- Perform application compatibility assessments.
- Package applications for Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.

Deployment Management

- Deploy applications using Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Ivanti where applicable.
- Define deployment rings, pilot groups, rollback approach, and compliance reporting.
- Troubleshoot failed deployments and provide L3 support for complex package issues.

Automation and Scripting

- Develop PowerShell scripts for silent installation, detection methods, uninstall automation, registry changes, and custom deployment requirements.
- Standardize reusable scripts and templates for package creation and validation.

- Define packaging standards, best practices, and quality gates.
- Participate in CAB, release management, anddeploymentreadiness meetings.

Documentation

- Prepare packaging design documents and deployment notes.
- Document installation, validation, rollback, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Review testing reports, UAT evidence, and knowledge base articles.
