Role:

- Work on enquiries and tenders from oil, gas and industrial customers in the Gulf, from our Mumbai office.
- Read each RFQ or tender, work out exactly what the customer needs, and get matching offers from vendors.
- Compare vendor prices and delivery in Excel, prepare the quotation and submit the bid on time.
- Handle prequalification and vendor registration with customers.
- Answer customer queries on submitted bids and help the sales team convert them into orders.
- Track bids submitted, won and lost, and report on the Gulf sales team's activity.

Preferable:

- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years in estimation, proposals, tendering, inside sales or sales engineering for industrial products: valves, pumps, instrumentation, electrical equipment,



process equipment, piping, HVAC, fire-fighting or fabricated items.
- Comfortable reading data sheets and specifications, and working in Excel.
- Uses AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude at work.
- Oil and gas, Gulf customers or vendor registration experience is a plus.

Note:

- 6 openings in a growing team.
- Desk job, office based at Vile Parle West, Mumbai, on the Western line. No field travel.
- You work across many product lines, so you learn far more than one company's catalogue.
- 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturdays.
