Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Junior Land Surveyor / Property Surveyor on a
contractual basis to join our team for a GIS Property Survey Project. This position is
heavily focused on ground-level field work, conducting on-site property measurements,
collecting physical property details, and interacting with local residents.
Anyone with strong motivation and good communication skills is welcome to apply!
Candidates with a background or qualification in Civil Engineering will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations & Ground Survey (Primary Focus)
• Perform daily on-site field visits to inspect, physically measure, and document
property dimensions and boundaries across assigned survey zones.
• Operate field survey tools and equipment to gather accurate ground measurements.
• Record clear, precise, field notes, dimensions, and property attributes while on-site.
• Establish survey control points and cross-verify ground dimensions on location.
On-Site Communication & Coordination
• Interact politely and professionally with property owners, residents, and local
representatives during field visits to explain the survey process and gain required
access.
• Address basic resident queries on-site with tact, clarity, and patience.
• Coordinate daily field routines, team movements, and progress reports directly with
field supervisors.
• Ensure high standards of measurement accuracy and data reliability directly from the
field.
Qualifications & Skills
Eligibility & Education
• Open to all graduates/diploma holders who are eager to work outdoors in the field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Civil
Engineering or relevant technical training.
Key Requirements & Soft Skills
• Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Ability to talk comfortably, clearly,
and persuasively with residents and team members.
• Proactive Field Approach: Highly motivated to work outdoor, ground-level field
conditions on a daily basis.
• Soft Skills: Active listening, conflict resolution on-site, teamwork, punctuality, and a
strong work ethic.
• Language: Proficiency in local languages (Kannada) is strongly preferred to ensure
smooth interactions during field visits.
• Basic understanding of physical measurements, scales, and spatial orientation.
