Design - Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Experience: 30 - 30 + Years

Location: Pune

Looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our Design, Engineering, Technology and Product Development functions.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in complex engineered products, vehicle design and development, with a strong preference for candidates from Defence Vehicles, Aerospace, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Special-Purpose Vehicles, Automotive or Heavy Engineering industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Design, Engineering, R&D; and New Product Development functions.
- Develop and execute the company's technology and engineering roadmap.
- Lead end-to-end product development from concept, design and prototype to testing, validation and production.
- Drive development of Defence / Special-Purpose Vehicles, SPMs and customized engineered products.
- Review and approve engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings and product architecture.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), value engineering and cost optimization.
- Strengthen engineering standards, design processes, documentation and product standardization.
- Lead integration of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic and control systems.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, Projects,



Sales and Service teams.
- Build, mentor and develop a high-performing engineering and technical team.
- Drive technology innovation, product reliability, quality improvement and engineering excellence.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 30 - 30+ years in Design, Engineering, Product Development and Technology.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Mechatronics / Aerospace or related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in senior engineering / technical leadership roles.
- Solid hands-on expertise in product design and development.
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors is preferred:
- Defence Vehicle Manufacturing
- Aerospace
- Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
- Special-Purpose / Customized Vehicles
- Automotive / Heavy Engineering
- Strong understanding of prototype development, testing, validation and engineering change management.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
