Robo Programmer – Welding & Heavy Fabrication

Location: Coimbatore (Kadathur Pirivu), Chennai (Poonamalle)

1. Robot Programming & Operation – Program, teach, and operate welding robots for MIG/MAG/ARC welding applications; optimize programs for cycle time and weld quality.

2. Welding Process Knowledge – Solid knowledge of welding parameters such as current, voltage, wire feed speed, travel speed, gas flow, and weld sequences.

3. Welding-Based Fabrication – Hands-on experience in welding fabrication, including fixtures, frames, structures, brackets, tanks, and assemblies.

4. Heavy Fabrication Experience – Experience working with heavy/large fabricated components, structural assemblies, thick plates, and high-load industrial components.

5. Robot Offline/Online Programming – Create, modify, troubleshoot, and fine-tune robot programs, including TCP, work coordinates,



welding paths, and approach/retract positions.

6. Fixture & Tooling Understanding – Coordinate with fabrication/tooling teams to ensure proper fixture design, component positioning, accessibility, and repeatability for robotic welding.

7. Quality & Troubleshooting – Identify and rectify weld defects, robot program issues, distortion, misalignment, wire-feed problems, and process deviations while maintaining quality standards.

8. Production & Maintenance Support – Support production targets, reduce robot downtime and cycle time, conduct preventive checks, and work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
