Role & responsibilities :
a) High-Volume Sourcing & Deployment Execution
- Lead the operational delivery of 500+ monthly blue-collar hires across assigned mandates.
- Map out sourcing channels including job fairs, mobilisation drives, institute connects, local community outreach, referral networks, and subcontractor channels.
- Create and maintain a live database of potential candidates
- Establish communication channels with the various state placement authorities for creating a vast talent pool
- Track daily candidate pipelines, interview conversions, medical check clearances, and final joining ratios to prevent candidate drop-offs.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for rapid field mobilisation and candidate onboarding.
b) End-to-End Apprenticeship Operations & Portal Management
- Take full ownership of government apprenticeship portals (NAPS, NATS, and state-level apprenticeship platforms).
- Oversee candidate registration, contract creation, stipend reimbursement processing, and claims tracking on official portals.
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance across all apprenticeship deployments, maintaining readiness for audits by regulatory authorities.
- Serve as the escalation point for compliance issues, contract renewals, terminations, and stipend distribution bottlenecks.
c) Team Management & Productivity
- Directly manage, train, and supervise 6 Recruitment Executives / Field Coordinators.
- Set individual and team KPIs, allocate daily sourcing quotas,
and conduct daily morning huddles and evening productivity reviews.
- Conduct performance evaluations and build team capabilities in candidate assessment, portal navigation, and candidate relationship management.
- Build accountability to drive individual targets with each recruiter
- Build discipline, morale and positive team culture
d) Client Communication & SLA Governance
- Lead operational touchpoints with client HR teams regarding hiring schedules, candidate rosters, and onboarding timelines.
- Monitor key performance metrics including Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, Joining Percentage, and Portal Registration Turnaround Time.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly hiring and apprenticeship dashboards for internal leadership and client reviews.
Preferred candidate profile :
Education: Graduate in any discipline (Specialization in HR, Business Administration, or Social Work preferred).
Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in high-volume blue-collar recruitment and end-to-end apprenticeship program administration.
Team Handling: Minimum 2 years of experience directly managing a team of at least 6 direct reports.
Track Record: Proven background in managing operations delivering 500+ hires/month.
Proficiency: Thorough, hands-on operational understanding of government NAPS/NATS portals, contract generation workflows, and stipend reimbursement mechanisms.
