- Source specialized security raw materials including substrates, security and non-security inks and adhesives, optical variable inks (OVI) etc.
- Conduct rigorous vendor background checks and due diligence to ensure supplier credibility, compliance, and non-disclosure agreement (NDA) adherence.
2. Procurement Operations & Inventory Control
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) issuance and final delivery.
- Collaborate with Production and Planning teams to forecast material requirements, preventing production downtime or excess inventory holding costs
3. High-Security Store & Inventory Management
- Enforce strict access controls and dual-custody protocols for the receipt, storage, and issuance of sensitive security items.
- Implement a robust inventory tracking system (ERP) to maintain 100% real-time stock accuracy.
4. Quality, Compliance & Auditing
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA)
to inspect inbound specialized materials against strict technical specifications.
- Lead regular physical stock verification and reconcile counts with ERP records, reporting any discrepancies immediately to executive leadership.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in procurement and warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a security printing, pharmaceutical packaging, or anti-counterfeit manufacturing facility.
- Material Expertise: Solid understanding of special security inks, adhesives, substrates & films/foils, and smart tracking technologies (RFID/NFC).
- Software Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with ERP systems and Inventory Management Software.
- Excellent budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and demand-forecasting capabilities.
