Role Summary:
Responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE standards at industrial construction and infrastructure project sites. Ensures compliance, manages high-risk activities, and promotes a proactive safety culture.

What Youll Do:
- Implement and monitor the project HSE Management System as per statutory and client requirements
- Conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Manage and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) for critical activities
- Supervise heavy lifting and crane operations, including lifting plans and load calculations
- Monitor compliance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and prepare inspection reports
- Ensure implementation of PPE, LOTO procedures, and electrical safety
- Inspect scaffolding, ladders, and work-at-height activities for compliance
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and job-specific safety training
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on HSE requirements
- Conduct emergency preparedness activities and mock drills
- Support incident/accident investigation and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain HSE documentation, permits, training, and statutory records




- Monitor compliance with legal, statutory, and client HSE requirements
- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure timely corrective action
- Promote a zero-accident safety culture across project sites
- Prepare safety plans and procedures as per project/client requirements
- Coordinate with site management for a safe working environment

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Experience in heavy lifting and crane safety
- Knowledge of lifting plans, load calculations, SWL, and crane load charts
- Proficiency in HIRA/JSA and PTW systems
- Scaffolding, work at height, electrical safety, and LOTO experience
- Experience conducting toolbox talks and safety training
- Emergency preparedness and mock drills
- Incident/accident investigation and reporting
- Safety inspection, audit, and compliance management
- Contractor safety management
- MS Office proficiency
- Strong communication and leadership skills

Positive to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience in steel plants, thermal power, wind energy, industrial construction, heavy engineering, infrastructure, or manufacturing/semiconductor projects
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
