Manager- Athlete Relations || SAI Current Delhi

Responsibilities

- Maintaining regular, proactive interaction with TOPS athletes, coaches, support staff and parents - building a mutual relationship of trust, professionalism and transparency
- Being aware, at all times, of athletes' training conditions, living environment, equipment availability, support staff quality and any other relevant on-ground information
- Understanding and conveying athlete requirements, concerns and pain points to the Research and Sports Science teams for analysis and prompt resolution
- Acting as a one-stop service point for each athlete assigned - managing all their TOPS-related administrative, logistical and welfare needs from a single point of contact
- Ensuring the end-to-end processing of each athlete's proposal in SAI: from initial submission to research review, to MOC presentation, to sanction, to delivery and completion
- Uploading and maintaining athlete details on NSRS (National Sports Repository System) and any other digital database or portal as applicable from time to time
- Coordinating athlete travel logistics for training camps, competitions and foreign exposure visits: tickets, visas, accommodation, per diem, kit - ensuring zero logistical failures
- Processing athlete entitlements: out-of-pocket allowance, diet money, equipment, medical reimbursements - coordinating with Finance for timely disbursement
- Maintaining athlete-wise dossiers: TOPS eligibility status, support package consumed, competition schedule, injury status,



NADA whereabouts compliance, passport validity
- Managing athlete media and communication requirements in coordination with the Communication team: press interactions, social media features, sponsor interfaces
- Any other task assigned by a competent authority or reporting officer

Experience

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
- Applicants with understanding of results and competition formats in Olympic sports will be preferred.
- Applicants with experience in Government / Semi-Govt. / Autonomous Bodies / PSU / Private Sector will be given preference.
- Candidates who have participated at national and international levels in Olympic Sports Disciplines will be given preference.

Educational Qualification

Mandatory:

- Master's Degree (2 years) / masters degree (1 year) from any foreign University in relevant subject (Sports Management or equivalent)

OR

- Technical qualifications such as B.Tech or MBA or equivalent in relevant field with minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field such as relationship management / sports management / operations / events;

OR

- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field such as relationship management / sports management / operations / events. Experience will be counted only if acquired after completion of essential qualification

Desirable:

Post Graduate Diploma (2 years) specialisation in Sports Management from a recognised university.
