Job Title: Purchase Manager Civil Construction

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Handle purchase of construction materials like cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, plumbing & electrical materials.
- Source suppliers, collect quotations and compare rates.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Stores and Accounts teams.
- Monitor material requirements and maintain proper stock levels.
- Ensure materials meet required quality and project specifications.
- Develop and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery/quality issues.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs and supplier details.
- Monitor market rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Handle vendor bills and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.Role & responsibilities
