- Key Responsibilities :
- SolidWorks 3D modelling and assembly design
- Sheet metal, machined, plastic and enclosure design
- Mechanical packaging of electronic products
- PCB and component integration
- Design of brackets, panels, fixtures and structures
- BOMs, manufacturing documentation and revision control
- Design reviews, tolerance verification and validation
- Coordination with vendors and production teams
- - Required Skills :
- SolidWorks Parts, Assemblies, Drawings, Sheet Metal and Weldments
- GD&T;, limits, fits and tolerances
- DFM/DFA and manufacturing drawings
- CNC machining, sheet metal, welding and finishing processes
- Basic knowledge of injection moulding, extrusion and fabricated assemblies
- - Preferred Experience :
- Experience with industrial electronic equipment, control panels, HMIs, enclosures, automation equipment, machines or electrical assemblies is preferred.
- Knowledge of PCB mounting,



connectors, displays, cooling, cable routing, IP-rated enclosures, EMC considerations and service accessibility will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in configurations, design tables, exploded views, BOMs, interference detection, mass properties and STEP/IGES files is expected. SolidWorks Simulation, PDM or electrical-mechanical integration experience is a plus.
