Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Lead and manage the overall procurement function for all manufacturing units.

Develop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, yarns, packaging materials, engineering items, capital equipment, and services.

Identify alternative sources and develop strategic vendor partnerships.

Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.

Vendor Management

Develop and maintain a robust vendor network.

Evaluate, qualify, and onboard current suppliers.

Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.

Negotiate commercial terms, pricing agreements, payment terms, and annual contracts.

Ensure supplier compliance with quality, sustainability, and company standards.

Cost Control & Commercial Negotiations

Lead high-value commercial negotiations.

Analyze market trends and commodity price movements.

Implement procurement savings and cost optimization programs.

Monitor procurement budgets and spending patterns.

Supply Chain Coordination

Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Stores, Logistics, Finance, and Quality teams.





Ensure timely procurement to avoid production disruptions.

Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock holding.

Support demand forecasting and material requirement planning.

Contract & Compliance Management

Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and purchase agreements.

Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Maintain procurement documentation and audit readiness.

Support ESG, sustainability, and responsible sourcing initiatives.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.

Establish procurement KPIs and performance metrics.

Drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives.

Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Textile Technology, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management.

MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, or Finance preferred.
