Role & responsibilities

- Ensure the safety and security of all female students within the hostel premises.
- Monitor hostel entry and exit and ensure compliance with prescribed timings and access protocols.
- Maintain proper records of student movement, visitors, leave, and overnight absence.
- Coordinate with security personnel and hostel administration regarding any security concerns.
- Take immediate and appropriate action in case of emergencies, incidents, or safety-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance with hostel rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
- Address disciplinary issues fairly and report serious matters to the concerned authorities.
- Conduct regular rounds/inspections of hostel premises and common areas.
- Ensure proper upkeep, cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities.





Preferred candidate profile

- Preferably 3+ years of experience in hostel / residential administration, preferably in a medical college, university, hospital, boarding school, or similar residential institution.
- Experience in handling female students / residents, particularly young adults, will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid sense of responsibility, discipline, and confidentiality.
- Ability to handle emergencies and difficult situations calmly and appropriately.
- Basic computer proficiency for maintaining records and reports.
