Role & responsibilities

- Set up CNC/NC Press Brake machines for different sheet metal components.
- Select and install appropriate punches, dies and tooling.
- Set bend angle, bend sequence, back gauge, tonnage and material thickness.
- Read and understand engineering/bending drawings.
- Perform first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Calculate and verify bend allowance and bend deduction where required.
- Identify and rectify bending defects such as incorrect bend angle, dimensional variation, cracking, deformation and tool marks.
- Monitor machine and tooling condition.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams.
- Maintain production output, quality and safety standards.
- Follow 5S and housekeeping requirements.
- Minimize rejection, rework and material wastage.

Preferred candidate profile





- Hands-on experience in CNC Press Brake machine setting and operation.
- Valuable knowledge of sheet metal bending.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of punches, dies and bending tooling.
- Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of bend allowance and bend deduction.
- Basic knowledge of CNC control panels and program selection/editing.
- Experience with MS, SS, Aluminium and GI sheets is preferred

Candidates with hands-on experience in CNC Press Brake / Sheet Metal Bending and independent machine setting will be preferred.
