Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance Functional Consultant with strong Record to Report (R2R) expertise to support our ERP program on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations, a comprehensive understanding of R2R processes, and proven experience delivering D365 FO implementation projects.

The candidate should be able to work independently, analyze business requirements and production issues, provide functional solutions, and collaborate effectively with business, functional, technical, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional expertise for D365 Finance Record to Report (R2R) processes.
- Support both project implementation activities and ongoing production/support activities.
- Participate in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, technical teams, and other functional teams.
- Analyze and resolve functional issues and provide recommendations for process and system improvements.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, deployment, and Hypercare activities.
- Prepare and review functional requirements, functional specifications, test scenarios, and other project documentation.
- Support integrations and dependencies between D365 Finance and other enterprise applications.
- Provide functional guidance to technical/development teams and help translate business requirements into D365 FO solutions.
- Participate in enhancement projects and help evaluate the impact of proposed changes across the R2R processes.




- Work effectively in a globally distributed and Agile project environment.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO).
- Solid functional expertise in Record to Report (R2R).
- Successfully participated in at least 2 full-cycle D365 FO implementation projects, preferably from requirements/design through go-live and Hypercare.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end R2R business processes, including:

- General Ledger
- Financial Dimensions
- Financial Period Close
- Intercompany Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Cash and Bank Management
- Financial Reporting

- Strong knowledge of D365 FO configuration and functional capabilities.

- Well-versed in D365 FO data model and tables, with the ability to identify and understand relevant tables, fields, relationships, and data flows when troubleshooting issues, analyzing data, or supporting integrations.
- Ability to work with technical teams to investigate data-related issues using knowledge of D365 FO tables and underlying data structures.
- Experience with D365 FO implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification.
- Experience with large-scale or global D365 FO implementations.
- Experience with D365 FO integrations and data migration.
- Experience supporting cutover and Hypercare activities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of D365 FO development concepts and ability to effectively collaborate with developers
