About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong backend and enterprise integration expertise. While core Java and microservices form the backbone of this position, our enterprise environment connects deeply with middleware layers. We are specifically looking for an engineer who excels at core Java, building robust APIs, and handling data transformations across complex enterprise architectures. Experience or familiarity with integration platforms like Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Oracle SOA, or MuleSoft is a massive differentiator.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, develop, and maintain secure, high-throughput backend applications, microservices, and APIs (REST & SOAP).
- Implement robust integration flows and data transformations between enterprise CRM (Dynamics 365), cloud services, and legacy back-office systems.
- Work with middleware services, configure routing/orchestration pipelines, and handle message transformations using XSLT, XQuery, and XPath.
- Build reliable event-driven and queue-based integrations using message brokers (JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Oracle AQ).
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, database schemas, and data persistence layers using Hibernate/JPA.
- Actively collaborate in architecture design reviews, maintain interface control documentation (ICDs),



and support automated CI/CD release pipelines.
- Troubleshoot complex end-to-end integration issues, analyze multi-system logs, and resolve defects during SIT and performance testing phases.

What We Are Looking For

- Core Backend Mastery (Mandatory):

- Strong hands-on proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or higher), with a deep understanding of OOP design patterns, Collections, and Concurrency.
- Solid expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Proven experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA) and Relational Databases (Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.

- Integration & Middleware (Huge Plus):

- Practical experience or strong exposure to Oracle Service Bus (OSB 11g/12c), Oracle SOA Suite, or MuleSoft.
- Hands-on knowledge of XQuery, XSLT, XPath, and XML schema design (XSD, WSDL).
- Experience with messaging systems such as JMS, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Oracle AQ.
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), message routing, circuit breakers, and fault handling.

- Skilled & Interpersonal Skills:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate architectural decisions, interface contracts, and technical debt to varied stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong cross-system debugging and root-cause analysis capability.
- Self-driven and reliable in high-trust, flexible work arrangements.
