Job Description: Digital Communications Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a technically proficient Digital Communications Specialist to support global communications initiatives, with strong skills in Microsoft (including Sharepoint site creation and management, permissioning and distribution lists) and ability to learn and manage current digital communication platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across international teams with flexible scheduling to accommodate multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Digital communication development and execution
- Work with international teams on content design (specifically for emails and newsletters)
- Support distribution of global internal communication on digital platformsspecifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Ensure successful execution of email communications review content with an eye for detail, confirm distribution lists, etc.
- Develop and maintain global internal communications SharePoint sites. This includes managing user permissions and access controls.
- Provide technical support and guidance on SharePoint best practices
Collaboration and innovation
- Collaborate with teams to build and optimize SharePoint solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to generate creative solutions
- Provide strategic options and recommendations beyond task execution
- Contribute ideas for improving communication processes and tools
- Support various team projects with technical expertise and creative input
Required Qualifications
Technical skills
- Strong SharePoint expertise including:
- Site creation and customization
- Content formatting and management
- User permission administration
- Workflow optimization
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Sharepoint and Microsoft groups
- Marketing Cloud experience preferred (or willingness to upskill)
- General technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Soft skills
- Strong collaborative mindset with ability to work across cultures and time zones
- Excellent communication skills for international team coordination
- Creative thinking and ability to provide strategic recommendations
- Adaptability and openness to learning new technologies
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Strong professionalism, particularly as it relates to sensitive / confidential content.
Working Arrangements
- Flexible working hours with core coverage from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM India Standard Time
- Support for US, UK, Poland, and other international regions
- Remote work capabilities with strong digital collaboration skills
- Cross-time zone meeting participation as needed
Experience Level
Senior Associate level preferred
