Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and responsible psychiatric nurse to join our mental healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in psychiatric nursing or have completed a recognised certification/course in Psychiatric Nursing.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide nursing care and support to patients with various mental health conditions.

* Assess patients' physical and mental health needs and monitor their progress.

* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the psychiatrist/doctor.

* Monitor patients for changes in behavior, mood, and overall condition.

* Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

* Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans.

* Build supportive and therapeutic relationships with patients.

* Handle psychiatric emergencies and follow appropriate safety protocols.

* Coordinate with psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.





* Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medication, and ongoing care.

* Maintain a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment.

Eligibility & Requirements

* Qualification:- ANM/ GNM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification.

* Experience:*1 to 6 years of experience in **Psychiatric Nursing / mental health nursing.

* Candidates who have completed a **recognized certification/course in psychiatric nursing** may also be considered.

* Valid nursing registration is mandatory.

* Compassionate, patient, and emotionally mature approach.

* Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts, if required.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of psychiatric nursing procedures and patient safety.

* Ability to manage challenging patient behaviours calmly and professionally.

* Robust observation, communication, and documentation skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary mental healthcare team.
