Role & responsibilities

6+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role within a TCC, NOC (Network Operations Center), or similar function. Exposure to broking/exchange environment, equity or commodity derivatives is preferred.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead and manage the TCC Monitoring and Support team, ensuring 24/7/365 operational coverage and optimal performance.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's technical and behavioural skills.
- Manage shift rotations, performance evaluations, and resource allocation to maintain a high-performing team.

Monitoring & Proactive Support

- Oversee the continuous monitoring of all technology systems, including trading platforms, market data feeds, applications, and network infrastructure, using a variety of monitoring tools.
- Ensure timely and accurate detection of anomalies, performance degradation, and potential issues before they impact business operations.
- Lead proactive problem-solving efforts to address recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain and enhance monitoring dashboards and alerts to provide real-time visibility into system health and performance.

Incident & Change Management

- Act as a primary point of escalation for critical incidents,



taking ownership and coordinating with technical teams to ensure swift resolution.
- Ensure all incidents are meticulously documented, including root cause analysis (RCA), and that the information is communicated effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Change Management teams to review and approve changes, ensuring they align with operational standards and do not pose a risk to system stability.

Technical Expertise: -

Robust, practical knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Nagios, or similar platforms.

- In-depth understanding of the broking, exchange, or BFSI industry, including knowledge of trading systems, market data, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SEBI).
- Proven experience in incident management and root cause analysis in a high-pressure, low-latency environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-stakes environment

Preferred Skills: -

- ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for improving monitoring and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their monitoring best practices.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies or platforms (e.g., CCNA, AWS SysOps).
